Managing Director Thomas Kurrelmeyer has over 20 years of experience in car dealerships – from Controller to Commercial Manager and Head of After Sales. Every day, he was confronted with the challenge of speculating about the reasons for poor key figures or creating time-consuming manual analyses. There had to be a better way! In 2018, the time had come and Thomas Kurrelmeyer founded bekumoo Software GmbH in the beautiful Münsterland region, more precisely in Ibbenbüren.
Since then, the bekumoo team has been inspiring customers with its kindergarten-friendly software, which transparently displays all key performance indicators for managers at the dealership. The reasons for deviations can now be determined within seconds and before anything gets out of hand. Thanks to the business intelligence solution, everyone is talking about the same key figures and manual effort is no longer necessary.
Study at bekumoo – your focus: Data Science
At bekumoo you can complete your Bachelor of Science either as a dual student (m/f/d) of business informatics or also as a part-time student (m/f/d) of business informatics to get started. In either case, the focus will be on data science. While you will be taught both business and technical know-how in the theoretical phases, at bekumoo you will be able to reach straight into your toolbox and use business intelligence tools to create, optimize and develop dashboards. You will complete the attendance phases at the FHDW in either Bielefeld or Paderborn and the practical phases in Ibbenbüren.
You have these skills
- General higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences and, for part-time studies, completed training as an IT specialist in application development, IT specialist in system integration, IT management assistant or IT systems management assistant
- High level of business understanding
- You really enjoy the subjects of mathematics, economics and computer science
- Very structured, independent and careful way of working
- High degree of curiosity, willingness to learn and flexibility
- Communication and teamwork skills
