Despite all the “conspiracy theories” – Bielefeld does exist, and how! With 339,000 inhabitants, Bielefeld is one of the 20 largest cities in Germany. 36,000 students characterize the culture, club and pub scene of this lively university city. Well-known brands are located in the center of the economically strong region of Ostwestfalen-Lippe. So it’s no wonder that the FHDW opened its doors in Bielefeld in the fall of 2001. The premises are located in the Technology Center in the east of Bielefeld. Here you will find modern seminar rooms and lounges as well as a small but excellent library.
