Cooperation with KEMPER

Kemper Metallwerke has been in existence for over 150 years, embedded in the industrially strong region of South Westphalia. In the three business units Building Technology, Casting Technology and Rolled Products, KEMPER manufactures innovative fittings and systems for drinking water installations (sanitary technology), complex cast parts to customer specifications and rolled strips from which a wide variety of parts are used in the automotive, communications, electrical and electronics industries.

The dual study program at KEMPER

The three-year Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration is divided into theoretical quarters at the university and practical quarters at the company. The FHDW imparts specialist business knowledge and a scientifically sound qualification. During the practical quarters at KEMPER, the focus is on a high level of practical relevance by getting to know the various areas of application. The students work in the Controlling, Finance, Materials Management (Purchasing), Production Control and Sales departments, among others, and can thus get an idea of the areas in which their own strengths lie and where they might be employed after graduation.

KEMPER offers the dual study program in business administration in two forms:

Study without IHK training
Study with IHK training as an industrial clerk

The dual study program at KEMPER is worthwhile:

KEMPER pays the tuition and examination fees for the entire duration of the course.
Employment after graduation is contractually agreed.
KEMPER offers internal factory training and exam preparation.
There is the opportunity to participate in internships abroad.

The cooperation between KEMPER and the FHDW has existed since 2014.
