Cooperation with Kolumbus Sprachreisen
Kolumbus Sprachreisen GmbH organizes language trips for adults and students as well as vacation camps in over 150 course locations worldwide. In addition, Kolumbus offers internships abroad, work & travel and volunteer work in around 20 countries. In the dual study program Business Administration with the specializations tourism and event management and tourism and hotel management students can combine theory with practical tasks in a tourism company. Students complete the theoretical phases of their studies at the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach. During the practical phases at the Kolumbus office in Cologne, they learn about various areas in the company, e.g. customer service, preparing offers and travel documents, contact with international partners all over the world, preparing for and following up on trade fairs and trade fair assignments, evaluating leads, writing texts for the website and catalogs as well as Internet marketing.
