Internship abroad
Enjoy foreign cultures!
There is no substitute for the experience of an internship abroad. You will learn about living and working in a foreign culture, expand your social and intercultural skills – and improve your language skills and career opportunities at the same time. Practical phases are an important part of the dual study program at the FHDW
International Office is the first point of contact
It's that easy to go abroad!
And we will give you credit for your practical experience.
Tripartite contract: internship content is agreed
The FHDW uses the
ECTS system
for the transparency of teaching and learning in Europe and for the recognition of academic achievements. Before the internship abroad, the content of the internship and its ECTS credits are agreed in a tripartite contract signed by the FHDW, the host company and you.
Host company issues practical certificate
At the end of the internship, the host company confirms the agreed content in an internship certificate. The FHDW then carries out a practical check with you. There you tell them what you experienced during your internship.
Diploma Supplement: Achievements are recognized and recorded
The credited practical work is listed on the Diploma Supplement. The Diploma Supplement is a Europe-wide standardized representation of the university degree and is automatically issued to you at the end of your studies with your Bachelor’s degree certificate. The document is intended to improve the assessment and classification of academic qualifications both internationally and nationally for both study and professional purposes.
