Objective: You will learn what is important in the application process in order to emphasize your strengths in your written documents. You will also find out what to expect when you introduce yourself to the company.

Instructions: How to apply for an internship or dual study program at an FHDW partner company. Write an individual application for each of two companies, which you design as one PDF application. Each application contains the following contents in this order 1-5:

1. Cover letter (with reference to the FHDW job portal)
2. Curriculum vitae with photo
3. Last two school reports
4. Proof of qualifications, internship certificates and references from part-time jobs
5. Agreement with the school that it is a school event(Download: Certificate school event)

If the FHDW is to forward the application documents to companies via your teachers, we need this document and your registration data:

• Signed agreement on data collection and transmission to companies (by the legal guardians)(Download: FHDW consent and information on data protection)
• Your contact details

The following guidelines must be observed when creating/saving the PDF file of your application documents:

• • Observe the sequence of documents 1-5
  • The size of each PDF file should not exceed 3 MB
  • Save/name your PDF file according to this scheme: (Company_last_name_first_name_desired_company_1.pdf An example: fastecGmbH_Mustermann_Maximilian_1.pdf Your favorite company gets the number _1.pdf.
