menten GmbH is an IT company founded in 1989 and based in Bergisch Gladbach. As an IT system house and EDI provider, the company designs, develops and supports IT solutions for its customers in Germany, Europe and around the world. At the forefront of software development is the company’s own software solution i-effect®, which well-known companies use to handle electronic data interchange (EDI) with their partners.
The company also develops individual software products for its customers for a wide range of application scenarios. This enables menten to use tailor-made software that meets even the most individual requirements and processes.
Studying with the FHDW and menten
Together with the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach, menten is looking to strengthen its team. The company offers students a balanced mix of theory and practice as part of the dual Bachelor’s degree courses in Business Informatics and Applied Informatics. Through early involvement in the development team and by working on various customer projects, students gain important practical experience in software development during their studies.
