Cooperation with WSS

For more than 100 years, WSS has been a competent partner and supplier to the international steel, aluminum and glass construction industry. As a developer, manufacturer and direct distributor of locks, fittings and accessories, WSS offers all products from a single source that are used to hold, move and lock doors, windows and gates and integrate them into a building’s overall system. With a team of around 300 employees, WSS inspires its customers with its diverse products, drives forward technical developments and exploits the opportunities offered by digitalization and increasing connectivity within the systems.

Dual study program at WSS

Together with the FHDW, WSS, as a partner company, trains budding young talents via the dual study program in business informatics. To this end, WSS is looking for a committed and highly motivated student (m/f/d) who will use the dual Bachelor’s degree program as an opportunity for a successful career at WSS as soon as possible.

In the dual Bachelor’s degree program, you alternate between the learning phases at the FHDW in Mettmann and the practical phases at WSS over a period of several months. This practice is characterized by direct involvement in all projects, but also in all daily tasks.

You inspire with

good to very good performance in completing the general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification
a tangible affinity for EDP/IT applications, data and information acquisition and processing
good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Possibly initial professional experience in the field of EDP/IT
initial experience with programming / a passion for digital topics
