The dual study program with Babtec and the FHDW
Do you want to study and get a taste of the corporate world at the same time? Are you passionate about computer science and have an entrepreneurial flair? Then business informatics could be just the right subject for you! Has programming always been your thing and do you want to let off steam in software development? Then you’ll love studying applied computer science. Get started and complete your dual study program in Business Informatics or Applied Informatics at Babtec and the FHDW!
At Babtec, you can turn the theoretical knowledge you acquire during your studies directly into practical know-how. You alternate between theory and practice in three-month blocks. You choose your study specialization at the FHDW yourself – Babtec is looking forward to seeing which areas of (business) informatics you would like to conquer!
During your dual study program, you will gain experience in various departments. For example, you will work in the Project Management & Consulting, Software Development, IT Operations, Sales, Product Management, Support, Customizing and Order Management teams. Here you will take on a variety of tasks and even take responsibility for smaller projects yourself. This will give you a broad professional orientation and allow you to gradually get to know your main areas of interest.
You will be integrated into the processes as a fully-fledged team member right from the start. Thanks to the combination of theory and practice, you can expect a steep learning curve. And if you ever get stuck, you’re not alone: your Babtec team is always there for you – and here at the FHDW, lecturers and the Career Service are always on hand to help and advise you!
Babtec’s aim is to welcome you to its team once you have completed your dual studies! There you will not only find a great place to study, but also a long-term perspective. So let’s get started: Babtec and the FHDW are looking forward to meeting you!
