- Studied business administration at the University of Bielefeld, graduating with a degree in business administration and a doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.).

- Research in the field of planning and control concepts in material logistics and reverse logistics

- From 2000 functions as Team and Division Manager Business Consulting at the internationally oriented software companies SSA Global Technologies and Infor for the DACH and Southern and Eastern Europe regions; from 2004 in this function also member of the management boards of the activities of SSA and Infor in the DACH region
