President FHDW

At the Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW) in Paderborn, the position of President (m/f/d) is to be filled from December 1, 2023. The FHDW was founded in 1993 as one of the first private, state-recognized universities of applied sciences in NRW. As a career-oriented university, we offer our students and partner companies market-oriented and contemporary know-how in the fields of business administration and IT. We pursue a strategy of sustainable customer partnership that is characterized by quality, expertise, trust and a high level of service orientation towards our students and partner companies.

The FHDW is represented at the five campuses in Paderborn (headquarters), Bielefeld, Bergisch Gladbach, Mettmann and Marburg and is strengthening its international activities. The range of courses includes dual and part-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs as well as application-oriented MBA and DBA programs. This opens up excellent professional and career opportunities for our graduates. For many years, the FHDW has also been successfully active in application-oriented research, particularly in the field of computer science.

The President is elected for a term of six years by the UAS Conference and appointed by the sponsoring company. Re-election is permissible; the term of office is then four years in each case. The incumbent president is not running again.
