The professorship will cover the areas of leadership, personnel and change management as well as technology management in teaching and research. Other topics include digitalization and innovation as well as intercultural management. You will teach courses in German and English in the above-mentioned areas in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs. Particular emphasis is placed on a pronounced practical orientation and solution orientation in teaching and research as well as on participation in the development and expansion of study programs and in the self-administration of the university, e.g. in the examination board.
What you bring with you
- Degree in economics or industrial engineering, doctorate, international experience in theory and practice
- In-depth scientific knowledge as well as qualitative and quantitative methodology in at least two of the above-mentioned subject areas
- Willingness to teach business mathematics and / or business statistics in the Bachelor's program
- Basic knowledge of a programming language
- At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally proven by relevant employment or self-employment in the areas mentioned, preferably in Germany or abroad
- Teaching experience as a university lecturer in the above-mentioned subject areas
The provisions of the HG NRW apply to your appointment as a professor. The position is suitable for part-time work (50 – 55 %).
