The concept
You are studying Applied computer science or Business Informatics, specializing in Software Engineering at the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach. During the practical phases of the dual study program, you will be actively involved in projects at WetterOnline. This always involves planning, developing and operating innovative and effective products. Depending on the focus of your studies and taking into account your personal strengths and interests, you will be deployed in different areas and departments.For example, you will work on web applications, app development, software engineering and the administration of computer systems. In addition to these technical departments, you will also get to know marketing and sales, deal with advertising marketing, corporate communication, graphic design and support business customers. Market analysis and product management also play an important role.
In addition to practical project work, you will also receive training from experienced colleagues. In addition, weekly lectures and seminars are held in-house during the practical phases, which are tailored precisely to the dual students. This will give you a comprehensive picture of all operational processes at WetterOnline. This makes it easier to get started and is the key to successful work.
