Shape the world of tomorrow with us! DLR is the aeronautics and space research center of the Federal Republic of Germany. It conducts research and development in aeronautics, space, energy and transport, security and digitalization. The German Space Agency at DLR is responsible for the planning and implementation of German space activities on behalf of the Federal Government. Two DLR project management agencies oversee funding programs and support the transfer of knowledge.
Climate, mobility and technology are changing globally. DLR uses the expertise of its 55 institutes and facilities to develop solutions to these challenges. The 10,000 employees have a common mission: they explore the Earth and space and develop technologies for a sustainable future. In cooperation with the FHDW, DLR offers you support during these Bachelor’s degree programs:
Business Informatics or Applied Informatics degree programs: During the practical phases, you will apply the specialist knowledge you have acquired at university directly in the specialist department and support your colleagues in the following activities:
- Analysis, conception, development of software and information systems in the SAP environment
- Getting to know administrative and technical processes, methods and agile procedures
- Independent supervision of exciting IT projects.
Business Administration with a specialization in Tourism and Event Management: You will complete your practical phases in DLR’s Event Management Service. In addition to providing technical advice, the Event Management Service supports the DLR institutes and facilities that request it in the conception, planning, implementation and follow-up of international and national scientific face-to-face, online and hybrid events. It also provides specialist information and services on relevant event topics at a central location on the DLR intranet.
