Co­ope­ra­ti­on with Rhei­n­Ener­gie

RheinEnergie AG is a modern energy and drinking water service provider for the Rhine region and is responsible for over 2.5 million people, industry, trade and commerce. Around 3,000 employees ensure that energy and water flow. RheinEnergie is based on a network of cooperations and has a secure position in the German energy market. At the same time, it remains closely connected to the people and companies in the Rhineland.
RheinEnergie combines training and studies
RheinEnergie needs talented and qualified employees and junior staff to shape the energy supply of tomorrow. It offers various apprenticeships with a very good learning and working environment. The combination of training and studies in collaboration with the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach.

Dual study program in business administration: Parallel to a two-year apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) and a further year of professional experience, the junior employees complete a three-year Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration, specializing in Business Managementat the FHDW.

Dual study program in IT: There are two options here. In addition to the two-year apprenticeship as an IT specialist (m/f/d), specializing in application development, and a further year of work experience, the trainees complete the three-year Bachelor of Science degree course in business informatics, specializing in Software Engineering. RheinEnergie also offers training to become an IT specialist (m/f/d), with trainees studying business informatics specializing in IT consulting.
Study program and tuition fees
During the dual study program, theoretical phases at the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach alternate with practical phases at RheinEnergie. At RheinEnergie, students get to know the specialist departments and are integrated into operational processes. They can apply their theoretical knowledge directly in practice. All students receive a collectively agreed training allowance and RheinEnergie also pays the tuition fees.

Prerequisites for the dual study program at RheinEnergie are good grades in mathematics and German as well as a university entrance qualification.
