Prof. Dr. Stefan Bratzel

Stefan Bratzel has been a lecturer and course director for Automotive Management at the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach since April 2004. He also heads theCenter of Automotive Management (CAM), an affiliated institute of the FHDW. His research focuses on the conditions for the success of automotive manufacturers and suppliers as well as the future of mobility. He analyzes innovation trends in the automotive industry and business models of large IT groups in order to derive theses on the future of mobility. Bratzel is a recognized industry expert and is one of the most quoted automotive economists in Germany’s media.

Our Automotive Master’s students went on an excursion to California: they immersed themselves in the world of Android Automotive on the Google Tasman Campus and experienced innovative technologies such as the Digital Key. At Stanford University, they discussed the future of autonomous driving with Prof. Dr. Sven Beiker. Visits to BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Tesla offered exclusive insights into autonomous driving and AI. Bachelor’s, Master’s or Diploma degree.

A further requirement for the course is proof of English proficiency at B2 level, which can be provided by means of certificates, stays abroad or a separate language test.

We conduct an admissions interview with all applicants. You should allow about an hour for this. We will talk about whether the degree program you have chosen is the right one for you, how you can ensure a good work-study balance and what your career goals are.
