Cooperation with wupsi
Shaping the mobility of the future and making an important contribution to environmental and climate protection – that is wupsi. As a future-oriented and innovative mobility service provider based in Leverkusen and the Rheinisch-Bergisch district, wupsi operates the wupsiRad bicycle rental system and the wupsiCar car sharing service in addition to traditional public transport. The dual study program at wupsi
In cooperation with the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach, wupsi offers Bachelor’s degree courses in Business Administration and Applied Computer Science. While the university imparts knowledge in the central areas of business administration and computer science, the students get to know the entire infrastructure of the wupsi Group during the practical phases. wupsi covers the tuition fees and also pays an attractive tuition fee.
Business administration students learn about business processes and organizational structures and get directly involved in process and application consulting. They are actively involved in digital process optimization and the development of new products and services.
Students of applied computer science gain an insight into the entire IT infrastructure and can participate in the design, project planning and implementation of exciting internal IT projects, e.g. control center and vehicle communication systems, depot management systems and digital passenger information systems. They also get involved in special topics such as IT security and digitalization.
