Umfulana GmbH, based in Kürten, is a medium-sized tour operator in the field of individual tourism. Each trip is tailor-made for the customer, booked and supervised. Umfulana offers together with the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach the study programs Business administration, specializing in tourism and event managementand Business Informatics, specializing in Software Engineering specialization. In both areas, only one student is employed at a time in order to provide intensive support and familiarization.Students at Umfulana are integrated into the processes from day one and are given responsibility. This means they learn a lot and are integrated into the team more quickly. In the field of tourism, the aim is for students to enter the sales phase from the second semester of their internship. As a rule, this begins with a business trip to the respective destination in order to impart knowledge more quickly.
