Cooperation with Ströer

Ströer is a leading digital multi-channel media company and offers its customers end-to-end solutions along the entire marketing and sales value chain. With the addition of dialog marketing, Ströer can offer its customers end-to-end solutions on a performance basis – from location- or content-based reach and interaction across the entire spectrum of dialog marketing through to transactions. In addition, the media company publishes premium content in digital publishing across all digital channels and offers one of the widest-reach networks in Germany with offerings such as t-online.de and special interest portals.

The Ströer Group markets and operates several thousand websites, primarily in German-speaking countries, and operates around 300,000 out-of-home advertising media. It employs around 10,000 people at more than 100 locations. Ströer SE & Co KGaA is listed on the MDAX of Deutsche Börse.

Studying with Ströer at the FHDW

The media company cooperates in the dual study program of business informatics with the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach. During the 6-semester course, students gain an insight into the Ströer Group. For Ströer, insight means that students get a taste of many topics and organizations, actively participate and take on responsibility in IT projects and topics from the very beginning.

The Ströer IT landscape is very diverse, which is why individual interests, whether in SAP, Java, security or other IT topics, are taken into account. You will be provided with your own laptop, which can also be used during the theoretical phases. A supportive mentor is available during the practical phases. Ströer covers all tuition and examination fees. The chances of being taken on after successfully completing your studies are very high.

In addition, training courses (e.g. presentation techniques, time management) are held at regular intervals for the more than 20 trainees and students at the Cologne site, as well as joint events that are organized together.
