The study programs
For many years, ORDIX AG has offered several positions for dual students in cooperation with the FHDW locations in Paderborn, Bielefeld and Bergisch Gladbach. This broad focus gives them the opportunity to complete their practical phases in different areas. In combination with the theoretical phases at the FHDW, the students achieve the best conditions for a successful start to their professional life. The aim of ORDIX AG is to offer them a permanent position after graduation.
The IT service provider also offers committed junior staff who already have a university degree attractive development prospects: they can complete a Master’s degree in IT Management and Information Systems alongside their work at ORDIX.
The practical phases
You will complete the practical phases in the Wiesbaden, Cologne or Paderborn offices. You will pass through various company and subject areas in order to gain a wide range of experience. Practical phases are possible in areas such as databases, operating systems, development, big data, automation, virtualization and IT security. You will be involved in your first projects and acquire the technical qualifications you need for your future as an IT specialist in addition to structured work techniques.
Many students appreciate the individual professional support provided by experienced consultants during the practical phases. They are also supported by a junior team leader during their studies in order to maximize their individual development potential. ORDIX AG also offers all its students the opportunity to expand their knowledge by participating in its own seminars.

What you should offer ORDIX
- At least university of applied sciences or general higher education entrance qualification
- Good grades in math and computer science
- Logical-analytical skills
- Perfect knowledge of written and spoken German
- Reliability, commitment, ambition, social competence
- Advantageous: Initial practical experience, e.g. through an internship in an IT environment and basic IT skills, e.g. Java, HTML, SQL
