With more than 230 employees, Open-Xchange develops open source software for communication, collaboration and office productivity. It is distributed via Internet service providers, hosting, telecommunications and cable providers, who make Open-Xchange solutions available to their customers as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Through partners such as 1&1, STRATO, Host Europe, NetCologne, network solutions / web.com and Rackspace, more than 200 million users already use Open-Xchange software for their private and business communications.

The core of the offering is OX App Suite with applications for processing emails, contacts and appointments, which can be expanded to include the following functions: OX Drive for managing and synchronizing documents, images, photos and films; OX Documents for text editing, spreadsheets and presentations; OX Guard for encrypting emails and files. Software from Dovecot and PowerDNS round off the OX Group portfolio.

For this reason, Open-Xchange is primarily looking for prospective students in the following fields or study programs business administration, Applied Computer Science and business informatics. The fields of work in the practical phases or after graduation for students of applied computer science or business informatics are internal IT, the middleware team, QA and the front end. Business administration students work in the HR, marketing, accounting, controlling and general administration departments. However, this can also be individually adapted and expanded depending on your interests.
