Cooperation with ITERGO

With 1,400 employees, ITERGO Informationstechnologie GmbH is the central service provider for all IT solutions within the ERGO Group. Anyone wishing to apply to ITERGO must have a keen interest in IT in order to successfully complete the selection process at both ITERGO and the FHDW. This interest is often already evident at school through favorite subjects in the mathematical, scientific and technical field, but German and English are also important. ITERGO also values social skills such as communication and the ability to work in a team.
Payment of tuition fees plus training salary

ITERGO finances the dual Bachelor’s degree course in business informatics at the FHDW in Mettmann for suitable applicants with a high school diploma or university entrance qualification and a grade point average of up to 2.5. The company pays the tuition fees plus a training salary for the students.

What prospects open up after graduation?
A large percentage of graduates are active in the field of software development after completing their studies, in which both project management and highly software-oriented fields of work can be found. Another area of employment is infrastructure management – an area that is also divided into strategic-planning and operational fields. ITERGO also offers areas of work that represent interfaces, such as customer management. There is an overarching career path to become a project manager (m/f/d) and very soon also special specialist careers.
