ISE Information Systems Engineering, headquartered in Gräfenberg, was founded in 1991 by the two managing directors Erwin and Herbert Rossgoderer. ISE is an owner-managed and independent GmbH with headquarters in Gräfenberg and branch offices in Nuremberg and Munich. The company focuses on consulting and implementation of Oracle-based solutions for large and medium-sized companies.

ISE is an Oracle Platinum Partner and employs 60 people, most of whom are involved in the design, implementation, testing and introduction of Oracle solutions. In addition to the classic Oracle consulting business, ISE operates the only Oracle Technology Center in Germany with the entire “Exa-Stack-Family” (Exadata, Exalogic and Exalytics). The ISE Oracle Technology Center is housed in one of the most modern data centers in Europe, in Nuremberg. ISE has set up a technology lab here, offering customers unique opportunities to evaluate and test new Oracle technologies for their applications. ISE employees play a leading role in the planning and execution of the tests.

In 2011, ISE was recognized by Oracle as “Exadata Partner of the Year 2011” for its achievements. In January 2014, ISE was presented with the “Oracle Excellence Award Germany 2013” in the “Engineered Systems” category. At Oracle Open World 2014 in San Francisco, Herbert Roßgoderer, CEO & CIO and Exadata Certified Specialist, was honored with the Excellence Award 2014 as DBA of the Year – Europe, Middle East, and Africa. These awards fill ISE with pride, as they not only confirm our portfolio, but also recognize the commitment and expertise of ISE employees.

The dual study program with ISE

ISE offers in cooperation with the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach a dual study program Business Informatics. During the practical phases, students at ISE enjoy the support of colleagues with many years of experience and are deployed in the following key areas:

ISE pays all tuition and examination fees for FHDW students. The preferred location is Nuremberg. However, Cologne is also a possible location – with the flexibility to be in Nuremberg for a few days if necessary. ISE provides test and development computers as well as test and development environments for research and final theses and offers graduates attractive employment opportunities.
