Thanks to the study cooperation between Sparkasse Hilden-Ratingen-Velbert and the FHDW, high school graduates and higher commercial school students can embark on an academic and at the same time practice-oriented education at Sparkasse HRV. They study business administration with a specialization in Banking and Finance. The quarterly alternation of theoretical phases at the FHDW and practical phases at the Sparkasse prepares them for their professional career.

On March 19, 2011, representatives of Sparkasse Hilden-Ratingen-Velbert and the FHDW signed a cooperation agreement on collaboration in the field of academic and practice-oriented training, i.e. dual studies. “With the FHDW in Mettmann, the Sparkasse has found a strong partner for dual study programs,” said Sparkasse Director Jörg Buschmann after signing the agreement. “This cooperation is a first step towards preventing a possible shortage of skilled workers at an early stage.”
