he-microsystem GmbH is a small software company from Lindlar. For many years, the team has been developing modern ERP systems, i.e. software with which companies can keep an eye on and control their business processes such as accounting, purchasing, production and warehousing. Over the last 35 years, the company has specialized primarily in production companies, which often have very individual manufacturing and administrative processes.
The company offers its own ERP system as standard software for small and medium-sized companies. The special thing about it is that it is not rigid, but can be adapted without limit. At the customer’s request, he-microsystem develops additional functions and extensions. From desktop software, apps and web applications to server services and interfaces that can also be connected to other systems. This means that every company gets exactly the solution that fits its processes.
In addition to development, he-microsystem also advises its customers on technical issues, digital strategy and funding opportunities for new projects.
Although he-microsystem is a small, family-run team, the company can also implement large projects. This is made possible by a strong network of IT partners with whom the company works closely. In this way, he-microsystem combines the advantages of a personal working atmosphere with the clout of a large project team.
Cooperation with the FHDW
Students can complete their dual studies at he-microsystem GmbH exclusively at the FHDW campus in Bergisch Gladbach – in the Business Informatics or Applied Informatics degree programs.
Due to the size of the team, students have the special opportunity to lend a hand everywhere:
- in software development for the company’s own ERP system and beyond
- for appointments and installations at the customer’s premises,
- in customer support,
- in advising companies
- participate in other activities such as acquisition, marketing, administration and internal projects
This not only gives them an insight into a small area, but also a holistic overview of IT projects.

New ideas and innovative thinking are not blocked, but expressly encouraged, because IT thrives on young talent and its fresh approaches. That is why the company is also happy to conduct research into new topics and technologies together with students.
