What Deutsche Telekom offers
You will start your dual study program together with Deutsche Telekom – with a nationwide introductory phase that will give you the ideal introduction to the Group together with your fellow students.
- Start of studies: October 1
- Remuneration: A monthly salary and other social benefits. The monthly salary is based on the current collective agreement regulations. You can find the current salary in the job advertisements on the Telekom careers page, see link under “Application”.
- Payment of tuition fees and the semester ticket
- Vacation: up to 30 days of vacation per year
- Technical equipment: own laptop, smartphone and internet access - all provided by Telekom!
- Study model: Block model
- Duration of study: 3 years
- Working hours: 38 hours per week with flexible working hours
- Opportunity: possibility to participate in a stay abroad, prospects of being taken on once you have successfully completed your studies

How the dual study program works
Dual study means studying in a very practical way. You will be taught the theory of the course at the FHDW. You can then immediately apply your knowledge in practice at the company.
PRACTICAL APPLICATION
You will not learn on paper, but on real tasks and projects and will be involved in operational activities from the very first minute. During your work placement, you will gain in-depth insights into Group-wide topics and processes and work on your own tasks as part of a team.
INDIVIDUAL LEARNING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT
Throughout your studies, you will be supported by your personal learning mentor and a contact person in your Deutsche Telekom department. Together, Deutsche Telekom will shape your individual learning and career development through regular feedback and development meetings. You will not only be supported in professional topics, but also in the development of your personality. For your professional and personal development, Deutsche Telekom offers a wide range of learning opportunities on overarching Deutsche Telekom topics as well as an extensive range of digital sessions and workshops (content can be, for example: Health, English, IT knowledge, Telekom strategy, etc.).
