“Ride the future – together” is the motto of brehmergroup, a supplier and development partner in the field of vehicle and industrial mechatronics with around 100 employees, which was founded in 2003. Well-known premium manufacturers from the automotive and commercial vehicle industry rely on the skills of this up-and-coming growth company when it comes to developing innovative solutions and high-quality components.
The company’s core areas include “Safety & Security”, in which products such as control elements, switches and headlights for the military, commercial machinery, agricultural machinery, trucks and aircraft are developed, and the “Luxury” division, which specializes in the manufacture of handlebar switches or heated grips for motorcycles and the classic sector, for example.
Comprehensive tests such as durability, environmental and mechanical tests are carried out in the accredited and independent environmental simulation laboratory to ensure the quality and reliability of the products.
The family-run brehmergroup is characterized by flat hierarchies and a “per Du” culture in which trust, openness and team spirit are core values.
Studying with the brehmergroup and at the FHDW
The brehmergroup cooperates with the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach and is looking for students in the Bachelor’s degree programs in Business Administration and Applied Computer Science. The brehmergroup is generally open to all majors in business administration, but prefers students who have chosen the majors “Automotive and Mobility Management”, “Automotive Industry and Sales Management”, “Business Development Management” or “Logistics Management”.”
As part of the dual study program at brehmergroup, you will get to know the processes of a medium-sized industrial company in the automotive and commercial vehicle supplier sector. You will work in all departments relevant to your course of study and your wishes will be taken into account. You will provide support within the departments and carry out (partial) tasks independently. This allows you to put the knowledge you gain in the theoretical part of the course into practice.
What you bring with you
- A-levels or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences
- Good communication skills in German and English (written and oral)
- Enjoy learning and working in a team
- An open, friendly nature and good manners
- Curiosity and interest in new technologies
- Car driver's license
- Experience through internships is desirable, but not mandatory
