Cooperation with AggerEnergie

For over 90 years, AggerEnergie GmbH has been the community-based, high-performance energy supplier in nine towns and municipalities in the Oberberg district and the town of Overath. As a joint municipal utility, AggerEnergie offers people and companies a supply of natural gas, electricity, heating and cooling as well as water and energy-related services. The quality of its energy products and services and the commitment of its 200 employees have made the company the leading service provider in the region.

AggerEnergie provides training

At AggerEnergie, you will have the opportunity to help shape, optimize and further develop the company’s work as a regional energy supplier. In particular, the promotion of qualified young talent is traditionally very important to the joint municipal utility. As a medium-sized company, AggerEnergie sees it as its responsibility to offer young people in the region apprenticeships in modern and forward-looking professions. In addition, the company always has a need for highly qualified employees from its own ranks.

Combined studies with AggerEnergie: two degrees in three years

You combine a commercial apprenticeship with the business studies, specializing in business management. After two years, you will obtain the Chamber of Industry and Commerce qualification “Industrial Clerk” and after a further year the “Bachelor of Arts” degree. During the three years, you will acquire expert knowledge, which you can increasingly demonstrate by taking on your own responsible tasks. During your time at the company, you will work in all specialist departments such as marketing, sales, human resources and accounting. This will give you a wide range of insights into the processes of a company and allow you to apply the theoretical content of your studies and training in your day-to-day work.

Training starts on 01.09. of each year. The dual study program is divided into theoretical and practical phases. You start with a practical phase at AggerEnergie and then move to the FHDW in Bergisch Gladbach.
