Business Management
You will acquire knowledge and skills in the area of corporate management and strategy. This includes financial management, marketing, operations and corporate development. One focus is on analyzing and solving business management problems and decision-making. Knowledge in the areas of leadership and change management is also taught. The specialization prepares students to develop and implement effective business strategies in order to increase the company’s success.
Controlling
The Controlling specialization provides in-depth knowledge in the areas of financial analysis, budgeting and corporate management. It covers topics such as cost accounting, internal accounting, performance management and financial planning. The focus is on the analysis and interpretation of financial data as well as the development and implementation of control and management tools. Graduates are prepared to take on management positions in controlling and make strategic decisions to ensure the financial health of companies.
Purchasing and logistics management
The specialization provides in-depth knowledge in the areas of procurement, warehousing and transport. It covers topics such as supplier management, logistics strategies, supply chain management and international procurement. Bachelor’s, Master’s or Diploma degree.

We conduct an admissions interview with all applicants. You should allow about an hour for this. We will talk about whether the degree program you have chosen is the right one for you, how you can ensure a good work-study balance and what your career goals are.

I travel a lot for work and can't be at the FHDW for all seminars. What can I do?
This is exactly what our degree program is designed for! Although you have attendance times on selected Saturdays, online lectures take place during the week, so you have maximum flexibility and can take part from anywhere. We plan the presentations well in advance so that you can fit them into your job and your private life.
How can I convince my employer that my part-time studies are also worthwhile for him?
The course provides for a lot of practical input. This means that you will cover many topics during your studies that are also important for your employer. This includes not only term papers, but also our transfer projects and the Master’s thesis, in which specific problems or issues from your company are dealt with.
