With tourism and event management, you are entering a versatile, varied and, above all, growing industry that connects you with other cultures, living and working environments. With your Bachelor’s degree, you are well equipped for a job in the hotel industry, with tour operators, tourism associations, in event agencies, in the congress sector or with airlines. There you organize trips and events for your customers in such a way that no wishes remain unfulfilled and memories for life are created.

Organization:
A three-month theoretical phase at the university is followed by a three-month practical phase at the partner company. You can always complete the practical phases at the same company or you can switch. This gives you the freedom to decide which sectors and departments you would like to get to know.

Our partner companies pay your tuition fees and support you during your studies. However, if you prefer to be more flexible and don’t want to be tied to one company, there are many other options. This also applies to the cost of living, for example. Just take a look around. We will be happy to advise you.

We offer dual and part-time Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in the fields of business administration, business informatics and applied computer science. The combination of theory and practice is our recipe for success. Because one thing is certain: you won’t get far in your career with books alone. We enable you to immerse yourself in practice while you are still studying. Either through recurring practical phases or you can complete your studies directly alongside your job! Around 550 companies are integrated into the FHDW cooperation network.
