class=\"neos-nodetypes-headline\"><div><h4>it&#8217;s OWL-TT-TopoOpt project: Evaluation to optimize the laying process for topomover<\/h4><p>The first transfer phase of the leading-edge cluster it&#8217;s OWL began at the end of 2013. With smaller, focused transfer projects, innovative ideas, processes and results from the Leading-Edge Cluster projects were also made available to previously uninvolved and often smaller companies. The results that the FHDW achieved in the innovation project <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fhdw.de\/de\/Forschung\/Forschungsprojekte\/its-OWL-RuMorS.html\" data-gentics-aloha-repository=\"node-repository\" data-gentics-aloha-object-id=\"fe173599-6d59-47e6-8bc5-d00e97d384b6\">RuMorS<\/a><\/strong>were made available to a start-up company in the region, topocare GmbH from G\u00fctersloh, in one such transfer project. topocare produces and sells machines and systems for hydraulic and civil engineering. The collaboration with topocare and a Fraunhofer Institute as a further project partner enabled the FHDW to sustainably transfer the innovative findings into business practice.    <\/p><p>In the TopoOpt transfer project, various approaches for optimizing the use of a new type of machine for laying filled hoses in dyke construction or for temporary flood protection measures were investigated and evaluated. In order to optimize the performance of this machine (\u201ctopomover\u201d), the entire supply chain had to be understood and adapted to the topomover. As part of the transfer project, initial process modeling and an initial porting of components from the RuMorS innovation project were successfully implemented. The results achieved were directly usable for the company topocare. The project was regarded as one of the lighthouse projects in the area of transfer by the leading-edge cluster it&#8217;s owl and was published. It has also led to intensive collaboration between topocare and the FHDW.
