Then our dual Bachelor’s degree program in International Business and Digital Management is just right for you! Our program brings you together with students from Germany and abroad and prepares you for exciting jobs in international companies.

You will acquire all the basic business management skills as well as an additional qualification in digitalization. To help you get used to working in an international context, the language of instruction is English. What is special about the international orientation is the interface to IT. You will learn how information technology can be used effectively in various areas of the company such as Marketing and sales, controlling, accounting, human resources, project management or strategic management can be used to optimize processes and achieve competitive advantages.

The ad­van­ta­ges of the du­al stu­dy pro­gram at the FH­DW

The FHDW develops its degree programs with experts from the business world. This is how we guarantee the practical relevance of your studies. In our dual study model, the involvement of companies offers you valuable practical experience and a direct transfer of knowledge. There is also the option of partial or full financing bythe company.

The dual Bachelor’s degree course in International Business and Digital Management requires a total of three semesters of practical work experience in a company. You decide whether you

The FHDW has both large corporations and small and medium-sized companies in its partner network and will be happy to find you one or more practice partners. Of course, you can also suggest a company for your practical phase that is not part of the FHDW network.

Fully financed studies, partial financing or self-financing

Through our partner companies, we have a limited contingent of fully or partially financed study places. Prospective students must apply for these places both to the FHDW and to the company. As a rule, companies cover the full cost of tuition and examination fees, and some also pay you a salary.

Of course, we also offer you the option of self-financing your dual Bachelor’s degree: you then pay a monthly fee of 670 euros and a one-off examination fee of 1,500 euros.

Or­ga­niza­t­i­on and cur­ri­cu­lum

The International Business and Digital Management dual Bachelor’s degree program is divided into different disciplines to ensure that you gain a comprehensive understanding of international business practices, digital management and key methods and skills. The alternation between theory and practice is particularly important to us.

You will spend half of the second, third and fifth semesters at the partner company and the fourth semester there full-time, so that your studies consist of equal parts practice and theory. This structure ensures a holistic education that optimally prepares you for a successful career in the international business environment.

Su­per­vi­si­on con­cept for the du­al Ba­che­l­or's de­gree pro­gram in In­ter­na­tio­nal Busi­ness and Di­gi­tal Ma­nage­ment

Our aim is to support our German and international students in three phases: Study preparation, onboarding and study progression. We want to ensure personal integration and support by actively working together with all university stakeholders.

Stu­dy pre­pa­ra­ti­on:

  • Information on our website and regular online tutorials offer you support with your application and prepare you for your studies.
  • Personal advice via WhatsApp, e-mail or telephone.
  • After being admitted to the program, international students are connected with a buddy who supports them during the preparation and onboarding phase.

On­boar­ding:

  • The “Welcome Week” starts one week before the start of lectures and allows you to get to know your fellow students.
  • For international students, group tours to public offices and banks are offered and city tours and information events are organized.
  • An etiquette seminar prepares you for the international business context.

Cour­se of stu­dy:

  • All students are supervised by mentors from the FHDW. The internationals will continue to be accompanied by their buddy.
  • Personal career planning meetings and coaching are available to help you define and achieve your individual goals.
  • The Career Service offers support with personal questions and difficult situations, including specialized advice for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
  • In addition to German lessons, we offer international students the opportunity to improve their German language skills through tandem language lessons.
  • We are here to support your academic journey and make sure you feel welcome and well looked after.
