Scholarship Programs at the FHDW

In general, stays abroad - be it an internship or a study visit - entail not inconsiderable costs. Often your own financial resources are not enough. This is where international scholarship programs come into play. The students of the FHDW have the opportunity to have their foreign mobility promoted through the scholarship programs Erasmus+ or PROMOS. Detailed information can be found here:

Stipendienpogramm ERASMUS+

Erasmus+ is the education, youth and sport program of the European Union. Erasmus + brings together existing EU programs for lifelong learning, youth and sport, as well as European cooperation programs in higher education. The program has three key actions: Key Action 1 "Learning Mobility for Individuals", Key Action 2 "Cooperation for Promoting Innovation and the Exchange of Best Practices" and Key Action 3 "Supporting Policy Reforms". The FHDW participates in Key Action 1. For example, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students can be funded for up to 12 months each.

The aim of the PROMOS program, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science (BMBF), is to increase the mobility of students from German universities. PROMOS supports students with up to six-month scholarships for stays abroad. The scholarships are awarded by the FHDW in quality-oriented and performance-related selection procedures.
